Meet the Founder

Francesca Serwaa is a psychotherapist, social worker, and educator with nearly a decade of experience in mental health since 2016. Rooted in community work and informed by lived experience, she is passionate about helping individuals rebuild, restore, and reclaim their lives in the face of trauma and systemic barriers. 

 She is the founder of Ignite Counselling Services and Pathways to Reintegration. Her work centers on trauma-informed care and culturally responsive care, with a focus on practical, sustainable strategies that support long-term wellness across both individual client care and organizational settings.  Francesca’s approach looks ahead to the future of mental health while integrating innovative practices that care to support lasting healing and resilience within communities.
